I am now working as a Management Consultant at McKinsey
& Co. in New York City. Two years ago, I completed my Ph.D. in Mechanical
Engineering at the California Institute of
Technology . My doctoral
research involved materials synthesis including Diamond and YBCO superconductors. Among other courses,
I have been a TA for sophomore level Thermodynamics. Here is the web site for ME-18.
My thesis advisor was Professor David G.
Goodwin.
Along with my wife Iona,
we were the Resident Associates for Page House, an undergraduate
residence of about 100 students, for three years.
Now a junior faculty member at The Weill
Cornell Medical Center, 2 years ago, Iona left her residency in Psychiatry
at the Harbor
UCLA medical center, to become a fellow in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
at Cornell’s Payne
Whitney Clinic, a part of New York Hospital. She graduated from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California in 1997.
We are both proud alumni from Cornell
University.
