I have been pretty busy lately so I have not really been up to date in posting new stuff. Next week is the Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast so I will be focusing on that for the next few days. I hope that if you are reading this you will be able to make it to the breakfast. the recipe is really good and it will just be a very pleasant morning all around. We will have a new style this year as well, along with the regular and blueberry pancakes we are also going to have Chocolate Chip as well. It should really taste good. Well after a long time in planning and production, I am happy to finally say that the web site is up and running!!! It has been a long 6 months of work but in the end it was all worth the effort. I can finally say that it is done and I must say I am relieved. I spent some time thinking about what to say here but I guess that you could just click on the link and find out for yourself. Please stop by and hopefully you will tell all your friends and family about it as well. |
The next event coming up for us will be at the Community Reformed
Church. That's right it is the annual Mother's Day Breakfast, and like
the past few years I will be serving breakfast for the all the members
and just about anyone who shows up. We are looking for places to go for our summer vacation and hopefully I will be able to tell you more about it when we finally decide on where it is that we are going. For those of you that have been watching or looking at the business sections lately you might know that the CompUSA locations are starting to close and I would like to let everyone know that I am still going to be apart of the company even if it is for a little while longer. My store is not closing so for all of you that have said prayers to keep me employed it seems to have worked even if it temporary. Keep up the good thoughts though because who knows what will happen to the company in the near future. |

| I have talked about my gaming forums and such elsewhere on the site, and
that are the people that I chat with and made new friends with.
Another community though that really should be mentioned here as well is the Community Reformed Church of Manhasset. I am hoping that at some point in time that I will be able to develop a website for the church. It is something that I have thought long and hard about and I am hoping that I can get permission to do it from the consistory stand point. It would be a great place to spread the word about the church and give people another place to get to know God and to see how the church really can help. I am looking into several things that might be incorporated into the site such as pod casts and event calendars so that anyone and everyone can be apart of the church. I will keep you up to date on the progress of that. |
