Based in New York City, I am a regular contributor to Premiere magazine and have been a freelance writer for more than 10 years, writing for such publications as Rolling Stone, Spin, Tracks, George, Travel & Leisure, Out, The Washington Post, Time Out New York, The Bulletin (Australia), New York Newsday and US Magazine, where I was a contributing editor. From 1999 to 2002 I was also the Movies Editor at CDNow, where I launched the video/DVD section. In October 2005 Live Fast, Die Young: The Wild Ride of Making Rebel Without a Cause, the book I co-authored with Larry Frascella, was published by Simon & Schuster/Touchstone. You can learn more about the book, which was reviewed favorably in the January 8, 2006, issue of the New York Times Book Review, at www.livefastdieyoungbook.com.
