Arkady's career covers many diverse areas of the NYC music scene and beyond(touring in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan); from classical symphony, opera and ballet orchestras(The Orchestra of St. Luke's, Concordia, under the baton of Gunther Schuller, Michael Tilson Thomas, Marin Alsop etc, Klezmatics at the Joyce Theater providing music for Pilobolus Dance Company), to Broadway (Chicago, 42nd Street, Guys and Dolls, Big River, Marilyn The American Fable etc), "Late Show" with David Letterman; from rocking out on MTV with "Weird Al" Yankovic, or backing up stars (Tony Bennett, Jon Bon Jovi, Garth Brooks, Natalie Cole, Trisha Yearwood, The Irish Tenors, Tommy Tune, Raphael, Joan Rivers, Lesley Gore, Mary Wilson, The Dells, The Temptations, Mikhail Baryshnikov etc.), to playing with Randy Brecker, Bob Mintzer, Ronnie Cuber, Tom Scott, Dick Oatts, John Patitucci, Vinnie Colaiuta, Louis Hayes, Valerie Ponomarev, Ted Rosenthal, Lew Soloff, The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, Charles Mingus Big Band, The Ed Palermo Big Band, Joel Rosenblatt, Dave Grusin's West Side Story All Star Band(Carnegie Hall, with Jon Faddis, featuring Gloria Estefan and Jonathan Butler) etc.

Born in Kiev, Ukraine, saxophonist Arkady [hear pronunciation] resides in New York City. He received Master of Music Degree from Manhattan School of Music, where he won the Andrew Goodman Prize for Best Clarinetist. These days Arkady keeps a busy performance, recording, and teaching schedule, in addition to composing, producing and arranging for various projects.
