About Anthony Troncale With 12 years of experience in the development, implementation and preservation of digital libraries for museums, libraries, archives and other cultural institutions, Anthony Troncale has had a distinguished career in the digital library field. In 1994, he led the New York Public Library's participation in the Digital Imaging Access Project (DIAP), sponsored by the Research Libraries Group. In 1996 he was appointed the founding head of the Digital Imaging Unit at the New York Public Library, building its capture lab into a state of the art facility. He was Assistant Director of the Digital Library Program at the American Museum of Natural History from 2000-2005, ramping up their digital capture facility for high-volume scanning of scientific texts and visual materials.
