Hello.. Welcome to my site! Glad you could stop in. My name is Barbara and this is my world tour. I live in New York City, center of the universe! I am the Social Studies Specialist at P.S. 40 in Queens;an inner city school. Teaching is my second greatest joy. My first is my two great kids Yasmin & Ari. I graduated City College of New York, majoring in art and was lucky enough to have traveled to see the greatest works of art in Europe. I can share them with you by taking you to the greatest museums of the world on the web. I hope you enjoy them. I have included many educational links and resources that you might find interesting and useful. I am now happy to say that I have a Master of Science Degree from the New York Institute of Technology in Instructional Technology.
You can download some of my Creative Lesson Plans in Art and in Science. Recently, I have been included in an article called, "Plugging In". You can find it in the online magazine, "Teaching & Technology" and I currently have an article in "Electronic Learning" which is published by Scholastic Inc..
