Leather Goddesses of Phobos 2

starstarhalfstarnostarnostar
Manufacturer: Activision

In Brief:
Very easy game. Nothing special.
Puzzle Quality: okay but easy Visuals: Fair Difficulty: Piece of cake
Dramatic Effectiveness: eh Ease of Interface: fine

Back in the days of text games, Infocom released The Leather Goddesses of Phobos, notable for its sense of humor and a little bit of sex. The sequel is a graphical adventure in which you can occasionally sleep with the other characters, expressed by a little movie of a rocket taking off. You can play as a guy, a girl, or an alien (if you're the alien you can forget about the sex -- you're not very pretty).

The puzzles are all really easy. As the alien you get some different puzzles than from the humans (but only in the beginning) and I missed one thing that had me stuck, but that was a result of the confusion of having to find different items in the same place depending on who you are. There's also a pair of 3D glasses in the game that I could never find any use for at all. If anyone knows why they where there, email me.

It's a pretty quick play, occasionally amusing, and there's not much to say about it beyond that.
