TRADING INFO

I'm really not that picky. Just a few things that most traders agree on....

I never, ever sell CDRs. I mean never. Don't ask. TIME PERMITTING, I'm happy to do 1:1 B&Ps for folks who are just starting out and don't have much to trade or who just don't have anything I'm looking for. ("B&P" means blanks & postage--you send me as many blanks as it takes to record whatever it is I've agreed to give you and a padded SASE to send it back to you in. Click here for better info on that than I could hope to provide.)

If I don't respond to your request for a trade or a B&P, please don't take it personally; most days, I get at least a dozen requests, and I can't write back to everyone, sorry. If I'm not interested in trading with you, asking me repeatedly will not change my mind.

I use only name-brand, 80-min., high-speed CDRs (generally TDK).

I always use DAO (Disk-at-Once) to record and I expect the same in return. If you don't know what this is, it's the way to keep blank spaces from being inserted in between tracks and turning an otherwise cool disk into a coaster. If you can't do it, please let me know in advance.

Please don't send me jewel cases. No matter how well you package them, they usually wind up as really hard confetti. Paper or plastic sleeves or even just pieces of paper folded around the disk are fine. (I use sleeves.)

I'd appreciate it if you don't write on the disks you send, but instead please label the sleeve, gently place a Post-ItTM note on the disk, or otherwise identify what's on there by artist, venue, location, and date.

If I have setlist info, I'll try to put it up on my site. If you can forward me any available info, great. (For shows that aren't listed out, I find most of my info here: http://janmarten.kamphorst.com/artwork.html. For most of the 'mats shows, I stole my info from here: http://www.novia.net/~matt/sky/setlists.html.)

If you have any questions about show info, quality, or anything else, just ask.

Thanks!!!
