It is with the deepest of sorrow & regret that we have to announce the passing of our Mother Flora.

She expired on March 28, 1998. We will maintain these WebPages in her memory. We thank you for your support of this page.

Although words alone may seem somewhat hollow when it comes to writing about our Mother & the person she was. I feel that something must be said about who she was and what she meant to us and those that crossed her path during her lifetime.

A Mother’s Love

Dear Father in Heaven I want to thank you for choosing Flora as our Mother. She was the glue that kept us together as a family. While our Dad was hard at work all hours in order to keep a roof over our heads’, food on the table and clothes on our backs. Mom worked just as hard at home raising us. She had this way of knowing exactly what was on our minds’ without having to ask what was troubling us.

She made sure to let us know that we were loved every day of her life. Mom cared for anyone who was in need. It seemed that her main goal in life was to make sure that she was able to help, and give of herself without looking for anything in return.

It’s funny how we can take certain things for granted, I thought that she would be with us forever. I guess you decided it was time to bring her home. Although we will have her with us in fond memories we must understand that in the end you are the one that has the last word.

And so at this time I ask that you to bless her soul and ease her passing over from this earthly life to the spiritual one now with you. I personally will miss her and the talks we would have. To me she was an important part of my life that is no longer with me. Yes she was my lifeline she taught me to respect my fellow man. To never turn away anyone in need and to be charitable.

Yes dear Lord Life wasn’t easy for her after all she had to bring up four of us. We made our mistakes and she was always there to get us back on the right track.

No matter where anyone of us was when we had a problem, she would be there to console us. She would think nothing of traveling to Puerto Rico, Florida, Chicago or where ever one of her children was in need. She would be there, and always ready to resolve our problems.

I pray that we can live up to her love and dedication, and that we too will be able to pass on her legacy. So at this time we want to thank you once again dear Lord for blessing us with a true Mother’s Love.
