This website would never have been made possible without the help of so many others.

Since this site's inception 10 years ago, Vietnam Vets and their loved ones have contributed so very much.

Newspaper clippings kept from 30 plus years ago, personal photos taken in Vietnam, memories of Vietnam and poetry all have been sent to me for this site.

I also have written about many of my experiences while in Vietnam; some memories obviously more difficult to write about than others but the common thread to this site is to WELCOME HOME Vietnam Veterans.

Enjoy your time here and oh yea, the smoking lamp is lit and ....

I sincerely appreciate any comments you might make when signing my Guestbook. Thank you!

  Guest book

Many of us missed a  "WELCOME HOME"  upon our return from Vietnam.   I've always wanted this website to say those two important words  "WELCOME HOME"  to ALL of you to whom this pertains.

Understand that the links which contain many memories of mine and others, the many pictures of Vietnam and other pages are here primarily for you, the NamVet and your loved ones.

However, so many nice comments from students and other non-veterans have been placed in my guestbook.   I hope that through many of the stories here that they will gain an understanding of the  Brotherhood  we shared in Vietnam and that same feeling that many of us continue to cherish today.

Finally, I was a radio operator (2533) with 3rd Amtrac Bn.; "B" Co., 3rd & 4th plt. from December 1967-January 1969.

Since February 1998 there have been

Certainly Tim Lickness' moving Vietnam Experience is deeply appreciated.

This website is the success it is because so many others have contributed to making this a home where you feel comfortable and also a place where you will learn about Vietnam!
